beach bags - for road trips

Pin It In the interest of time - and a lot of luck, I came across these sweet, painted wooden crafts to embellish plain white canvas bags. I LOVE the idea of creating a personalized bag for each child - and filling them with activities and snacks that go along with our road trip's theme. Paper gift bags and boxes wrapped in decorated craft paper also work great!



And because you have to shop for the road trip anyway, take a small detour and fish for inexpensive ways to keep your toddlers busy in the car...Dollar stores and bins at craft stores usually stock up with seasonal items. We found small beach balls, chalk boards with whales, Swedish Fish, and even a portable mini-light that attaches to their books so that they could read during our overnight drive.
